Kadhi courts resurface due to deep respect for religion

Supreme leader of Tanzania's Muslims,Mufti Issa Shaaban bin Simba
Accusing President Paul Kagame of being behind the 1994 genocide is a sign of arrogance by the Western countries, Rwandan envoy to Tanzania, Mr Zeno Mutimura, has said.

The ambassador made the point as his government released the report alleging the French political and military officials of masterminding the genocide.

According to the report, at least 13 French officials have been accused of planning the genocide and among the towering official on this list include the then President of France (1881-1995), Francois Mitterrand.
The ambassador added that the genocide of Rwanda is accepted by the United Nations and that the problem of who planned it or not is less important because the court in Arusha has a history. "The whole world knows that Mr Kagame stopped the genocide, he took the arms to stop genocide and not to kill innocent people," Mr Mutimura said.

According to the envoy, the Kagame issue against France is in two main categories, the first one is that France feels guilty, and thus it tries to shift blame that can not hold water, and the second is arrogant.
"You know some people think any country can be pushed around, so President Kagame is accused of genocide simply because he supports unity, brotherhood and true freedom," Ambassador Mutimura said.

He explained that President Paul Kagame came to rescue his country from massacre and that from 1994 Rwanda has been doing well economically, politically and socially adding that in the previous years the country managed to conduct peaceful and democratic presidential, parliamentary and senate elections. In the previous years, President Kagame was accused to have been played a role in Rwanda genocide by some France officials.
