The most expensive socks in the world

If you make something the most expensive without using gold and diamonds then it must really be very good. Well, the New York Post has declared a pair of socks the most expensive leggings in the world. The best part is that they are neither made in gold nor are they embellished with diamonds. They are made from mohair and alpaca and sell for $500. The multicolored hand-crocheted Rodarte socks are a combination of silky mohair yarn and soft alpaca wool. There is more that is unusual about these socks. These socks come with holes and cannot be washed.
The New York Post decided to take it out on the street amongst the people to take their reaction and opinion about the $500 socks. And one must admit that the reactions were positive. Rosemarie Terenzio of RMT PR said that they last forever, feel comfortable and look amazing. Christa Hylton of Brooklyn also confirmed the long life of the socks.
High-end socks have turned out to be a hot trend now with different labels offering high-priced hosiery. Some examples include the $170 hand-knit Pendleton Woolen socks, $220 Rachel Comey leather socks and the $145 stirrup-style socks from Cacharel
