Remains of missing school girl’s body found in Kaup shores

PADUBIDRI: The highly decomposed remains of Anusha (16), a student who was reported missing from Ullalbail in Ullal police station limits on January 1, has been found in the shores at Kaup on Monday.
The girl who had left for school on January 1 had not returned home. Her family after an intense search for her had lodged a complaint with the Ullal police. When her family was about to file a Habeas Corpus writ, her school bag and books were found in Someshwar beach giving room for doubts that she might have committed suicide. Now after nearly a month since the girl went missing, a portion of her leg in a decomposed state was found near the Kaup lighthouse on Monday. Even a blue color chudidar pant was also found and family members have verified that it was Anusha’s remains.
It is suspected that Anusha who was an orphan and was brought up in her uncle’s house, might have ended her life out of frustration
